Product Description

The original clear fire resisting safety glass, combining 30 minutes (E30) fire resistance with safety glass characteristics and flexible, multi-functional usage.

Single glazing

Available in clear, body tinted (SGG PARSOL grey, green or bronze), or decorative options including acid-etched (SGG PYROSWISS SATINOVO), patterned/textured glass (NEW SGG PYROSWISS MASTERGLASS) and silk-screened ceramic frit designs-all fully certified to BS 476: Part 22.

Double glazing

The flexibility of SGG PYROSWISS is best illustrated when the glass is incorporated into double glazed units.

Solar control glass types such as SGG PARSOL, SGG ANTELIO and SGG COOL-LITE can also be easily incorporated, as can low emissivity coatings, such as SGG PLANITHERM ULTRA for increased thermal insulation and in full compliance with document L.

Performance

In the event of fire, SGG PYROSWISS provides an effective barrier against the passage of smoke, flames and hot toxic gases. By remaining transparent and fully intact SGG PYROSWISS allows persons making their escape and rescue services to be fully aware of any impending danger.

Rapid access can be achieved safely, to facilitate hose access, smoke evacuation and rescue efforts. A sharp blow from an axe will safely evacuate the opening, leaving behind harmless fragments of glass.
