SGG CONTRAFLAM STRUCTURE
SGG CONTRAFLAM STRUCTURE is a new glass product offering the ideal solution for realising frameless fire resistant all glass systems in interior application.

The panes consist of two or more sheets of tempered monolithic safety glass and intumescent interlayers, which develop their insulating propertiesin case of fire.

The fire protective interlayer based on nano technology is UV resistant and features an extremely high light transmission.

The frameless vertical silicone joints in this fire resistant glazing system allow for new design options and architectural solutions by far exceeding the scope of all solutions known today.

The filigree, vertical joints add a valuable feature to construction design.

Product Description
is compatible with timber, steel, aluminium frames and other fire resistant frame systems.
For  the circumferent frame profiles, various products can be applied. The frame profiles are available from system partners who have conducted tests with SGG CONTRAFLAM STRUCTURE. The installation of SGG CONTRAFLAM STRUCTURE has to comply with the installation instructions and may only be carried out by trained experts.

SGG CONTRAFLAM STRUCTURE consists of only a few components,  thus facilitating quick and individual planning.

• All glass partition panes (available in sizes up to 1950 x 3150 m (w x h)

Product Designation
Fire resistant safety glass for the classifications EW and EI consisting of exterior  MSG panes (monolithic safety glass) and transparent intumescent interlayers reacting in case of fire.

Fire  Resistance Properties - Classifications
• EI 30 or EI 60 (full insulation and maximum temperature increase DT≤ 140° K)
• Tested as per EN 1363 ff and EN 1364 ff
• Symmetrical fire resistance
• opaque in case of fire
